  • Job Title: Buyer Support Coordinator 
    Salary: up to £27000 per annum
    Location: Hybrid – with a minimum of 1 day a week in any of our BCA sites
    Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30
    Job Status: 12 months Fixed Term Contract

    We are looking to hire a Buyer Support Coordinator to join the Buyer Support team that predominantly assist our large customers with day-to-day tasks. The core focus of this role is to support the wider network with clearing mileage discrepancies and any additional anomalies related to vehicle history, as well as processing seller applications & other general administrative responsibilities. 

     

    Key Responsibilities 

    1.Mileage Discrepancy Enquiries: 

    • Support the wider network & buyers in clearing vehicle mileage anomalies 

    • Action any mileage discrepancy issues, queries or complaints arising so that any problems are resolved, in a timely fashion and to all parties’ satisfaction  

    • Regular updates to our customers to ensure they are informed of the status of their query

    2.Seller Applications: 

    • Process seller applications, by carrying out the required application checks & setting up accounts 

    • Provide support to the buyer development team with buyers that decide to sell through BCA

    •  

    3.General Responsibilities: 

    • Provide reports on a daily, weekly or ad hoc basis, that will give value to our buyers and the wider Buyer Development Team 

    • Use own initiative to suggest areas of improvements to support the growth, retention and customer satisfaction of our buyers, as well as potential internal efficiencies 

    • Any administrative tasks, including but not limited to, re-invoicing, adding delivery, booking collections, service history queries or any other pre and post-sale queries to our VIP buyer portfolio purchases 

    • Attend weekly team meetings, either physical or via MS Teams 

    • Create, build and maintain successful working relationships with Auction Centres / Customer Services and all other BCA business areas 

    • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as necessary to meet the business needs and for your own personal development 

    • Attend team events when required including overnight stay 

    • If and when required, attend training courses to improve product knowledge, self-development as well as site visits to understand all areas of the business  

     

    Key Skills 

    • Fully literate in MS Office - Mainly Microsoft Word, Excel  

    • Understanding of external vehicle data platforms e.g. HPI, Experian, DVSA (preferable) 

    • Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce 

    • Automotive sector background is advantageous but not essential  

    • Good relationship building skills 

    • High attention to detail and organisational skills 

    • Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with both internal stakeholders & external customers 

    • Self-Motivated with the ability to work alone and as part of a team  

    • Knowledge of BCA products and services (preferable) 

    • Ability to deal with conflicts positively and objectively whilst managing and resolving customer dissatisfaction
