Role Overview:
Based at BCA Automotive Kirk Sandall Depot, the HGV Workshop Parts Advisor will be one of the team responsible for ensuring efficient parts supply for the workshop operation.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the post holder’s key responsibilities will be:
- Ordering parts in line with operational needs and chasing suppliers.
- Assisting in controlling optimum stock levels based on reported consumption.
- Assisting with collection of parts when required.
- Unpacking daily deliveries, checking condition and placing parts in the correct locations in the store-room.
- Carrying out stock checks as required.
- Complying with Company standards with regards to Health and Safety. Ensuring good housing keeping by maintaining a clean and organised store-room.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will possess;
- Previous experience in a parts advisor role.
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade A – C, including English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work on their own initiative or as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving licence
